Situation Update, east of Ukraine as of September 6, 2016

According to the press centre of the ‘anti-terror’ operation (ATO) HQ, the enemy has violated the ceasefire for 21 times over the past 24 hours.

The enemy used machineguns, small arms, and grenade launchers against the Ukrainian positions near Luhanske and Avdiivka.

In Mariupol direction, militants fired 120 mm and 82 mm mortars on the Ukrainian positions near Shyrokyne — Talakivka. An enemy’s sniper targeted the Ukrainian positions near Shyrokyne.

In Luhansk direction, militants shelled Stanytsia Luhanska, Novozvanivka with grenade launchers, machineguns, and small arms. Moreover, a sniper targeted the Ukrainian gov’t positions near Stanytsia Luhanska.

In Donetsk and Mariupol directions, the enemy’s UAVs were seen.

The Ukrainian military observe the Minsk agreements despite the provocations.

The Special Operations Forces have found an arms cache (ammunitions, pistol light, TNT blocks, anti-tank mines, grenades) in Bezhynove village, Novoaidar region, Luhansk oblast. This fact proves the presence of the Russian aggressor in Ukraine.
