Prime Minister congratulates Ukrainians on second golden medal in Rio de Janeiro

I congratulate all the fans on the second gold at the Olympic Games in canoe sprint!

It is the second time when Ukrainian athletes are winning golden medal at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, bringing joy to the lives of the audience following the sporting competitions.

A sportsman from Odessa Yurii Cheban repeated his successful performance of four years ago: he won the final canoe 200 meters race in 39.279 seconds which was a record.

I believe new victories are ahead!

I cordially congratulate Yurii Cheban on the impressive victory and wish all the Ukrainian athletes achieving new heights for the joy of our fans and the country!
