
In August, the Cabinet of Ministers engaged in the preparation of a package of government bills to submit for the second session of the Parliament
In August, the core activities of the Cabinet of Ministers are focused on the elaboration of a package of government bills for the second session of the Verkhovna Rada of the VIII convocation, which, after the vacation, will open on 6 September.
This was announced by Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleksandr Saienko, who, on commission of the Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, is coordinating this work.
Among the most important issues are economic development, the preparation of the draft State Budget, a tax reform, reform of customs. The Government is also engaged in the preparing of decisions to prolong decentralization, to introduce a Strategy of public administration, a health care reform, reforms in energy and transport, the social sphere and education.
“Intensive joint action of the Verkhovna Rada and the Cabinet of Ministers in autumn will be crucial to give a new impetus to reforms in Ukraine”, said the Minister.
According to Olexander Saienko, the Prime Minister set to each Minister peculiar
tasks, but given the summer period he gave everyone the opportunity to take short
vacation, mainly 5-10 days, provided that the relevant work in the ministries
will be intensive.
This week, the ministries are due to host discussion of
relevant elaborated solutions and by late August these bills will be submitted
and approved at the sessions of the Cabinet of Ministers.
