During August 24-26, 2016 the solemn cultural events within the framework of the Days of Ukrainian culture are planned in Copenhagen with the support from the Danish-Ukrainian Society and the Embassy of Ukraine to Denmark. The Days are dedicated to commemoration of the 25th anniversary of Ukraine's Independence (24th of August).

The programme of the Days of Ukrainian culture in Denmark include flower laying ceremony near the monument to Taras Shevchenko, divine liturgy for Ukraine in St. Ansgar Cathedral, Ukraine's opera performance "IYOV" and a reception.
