Volodymyr Groysman congratulated military officers on the Day of the AFU Special Operations Forces

Dear colleagues!

Today we first celebrate a special professional holiday – the Day of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine will be annually marked on July 29.

I am convinced that this celebration will redouble attention and gratitude of the Ukrainian society to Your profession and mission – the protection of our country from the enemy, ensuring the defense capacity of the state, especially looking at challenges we are facing these days. Repeatedly risking life and limb, the officers of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine demonstrate their high professionalism, patriotism and heroism, have always been subject to particular risks and have performed their duties with dignity.

Your combat experience and active participation in the anti-terror operation in eastern Ukraine is an invaluable contribution to strengthening of defensibility of our state. I believe that You show a commendable example of service to younger generations.

I wish You good health, professional growth, while Your families and friends - prosperity, harmony, understanding.
