Sending off Ukrainian
athletes, Volodymyr
Groysman pointed out: "When
we look at them, we see - they are strong, professional,
they have the support of Ukrainians, all of us, because they glorify sport, our
country. They deserve to be winners."
"I am sure
that our athletes will return with the victory," the Prime Minister
underlined.
According to him,
today, "on this moving day", Ukrainian athletes begin their journey towards
"victory at the Olympics, which is very important in the life of every
athlete."
Volodymyr
Groysman noted that 10,500 athletes
from more than 200 countries will compete at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games. "But
we will definitely win and achieve the best results," he assured.
The Prime
Minister wished all the members of the Ukrainian team success, prosperity and
victory in the difficult struggle at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games.
"Everyone on
this stage is a real hero. I firmly believe that they will do their job well,
and we will be waiting for them with the victory," said Volodymyr Groysman.
The Prime
Minister of Ukraine handed over the national flag of Ukraine to the members of
the Olympic team, eleven-time medalist of World Rhythmic Gymnastics
Championships, Hanna Rizatdinova and Olympic medalist
in diving Illya Kvasha.
