Situation Update, east of Ukraine as of July 20, 2016

According to the press centre of the ‘anti-terror’ operation (ATO) HQ, the enemy has violated the ceasefire for 54 times over the past 24 hours.

The enemy used 122 mm artillery forbidden by the Minsk agreements against the Ukrainian positions near Shyrokyne. Moreover, militants used 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers and heavy machineguns. In Talakinka, the enemy fired 120 and 82 mm mortars. Occupants shelled the ATO positions near Krasnohorivka, Hnutove, and Vodyanove with mortars, near Marinka, Slavne, Starohnativka, and Novohryhorivka with small arms.

The enemy attacked the Ukrainian positions near Avdiivka with 120 and 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machineguns, and small arms. Militants fired 120 mm mortars on Mayorsk, 82 mm mortars on Butivka, Opytne, and Zaitseve.

Occupants used 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers, and heavy machineguns against the Ukrainian positions near Stanytsya Luhanska, anti-air mounts — near Novozvanivka, APC armament — near Novooleksandrivka.
