Each ministry has to identify the most vulnerable to corruption areas in its field and take immediate measures to eliminate them. Each minister has to report about the results of anti-corruption measures taken, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has stated, opening a Government’s meeting on Wednesday.

"I will deliver an official statement that each minister should determine 3-5 areas of potentially high risks of corruption, and suggest how to minimize or eliminate these risks. This is essential," said Volodymyr Groysman.

The Head of Government has noted that 9 December is International Anti-Corruption Day. "I think it is a very good date when each Minister will report about the anti-corruption activity," he said.

The Prime Minister urged the Ministers to present concrete proposals on this issue. The Government will sum up the results on December 9, he pointed out.

The Prime Minister has highlighted the need to build up a quality system to tackle corruption, "We should not just say that we want to fight, but really create conditions aimed at eliminating conditions for corruption in the Ministries."
