Situation Update, east of Ukraine as of June 17, 2016
According
to the press centre of the ‘anti-terror’ operation, over the past
24 hours the enemy has violated the ceasefire for 46 times.
The enemy
shelled the Ukrainian positions near Krasnohorivka
with APC armament and ZU-23-2 anti-air mount, heavy mortars, and tank armament.
Moreover,
about 07:00 p.m., militants attacked Marinka check
point where two civilians were wounded.
The illegal
armed formations shelled the ATO positions near Shyrokyne,
Vodyane, Hnutove, Slavne, and Novotroitske with
heavy machineguns and grenade launchers.
The enemy
fired heavy machineguns and automatic grenade launchers on the ATO
positions near Nevelske, Luhanske,
and Troitske, Zaitseve, and
Novhorodske.
Militants
attacked the Ukrainian positions near Novooleksandrivka
and Popasna with 82 mm mortars, Novozvanivka with grenade launchers.
