Col. Vladyslav Shostak, Deputy Chief of Armament of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said it during a briefing in the MoD press centre.

“Trials of new armament and military equipment permanently undergo in the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Col. Vladyslav Shostak stressed, “Currently, 10 types of UAVs and unmanned systems undergo trials.”

Moreover, Kozak-2 armor vehicle and a new earth digging machine undergo trials now. In 2014-2016, BTR-3, BTR-4 APCs, Spartan, Kuguar armor vehicles, Fort small arms, communication stations, electronic warfare stations, aircrafts and helicopter protection systems, radio stations were put into service.

Ukrainian enterprises replace production facilities located in the Russian Federation.

According to him, there are enterprises in Ukraine which can cooperatively manufacture a combat aircraft and ensure its maintenance and repair.
