On May 16 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine for the European Integration Olena Zerkal held a meeting with Lilian Darii, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova.

During the meeting a number of issues of Ukrainian-Moldovan dialogue was discussed, in particular, economy, as well as border and inter-parliamentary cooperation.

The Sides confirmed their willingness to further develop cooperation in the sphere of European integration as well as to provide mutual support in the framework of international organizations.

Special attention was also paid to the importance of giving an additional impetus to the negotiations in the "5+2" format and resuming a constructive dialogue between Chisinau and Tiraspol.
