The Russian
Federation made a historic and strategic mistake by launching aggression
against Ukraine. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman in the evening
airtime of 24 Channel on Wednesday, April 20.
"Ukrainians
have proven that we are proud, we do not give up our positions, and this is the
fundamental question. I think the biggest strategic mistake made by Russia was
what they did in Ukraine. This is a historic and strategic mistake," stated
Volodymyr Groysman.
Answering a
question about future policy of the Government regarding the Russian
Federation, the Prime Minister noted that Russia must determine itself how it
wants Ukraine to build up the interaction with her.
"It is
possible to build up a normal relationship with any neighbor unless it is an
aggressor, unless it is a killer. If your neighbor is a killer, then what can
be discussed at all? If your neighbor has seized part of your territory, your State,
then, of course, there are so many questions," noted the Prime Minister.
However, the
Prime Minister informed that he talked today with Minister of Energy and Coal
Industry of Ukraine Ihor Nasalyk
who assured that Ukraine purchases neither gas, nor coal in Russia.
