Angela Merkel thanked Arseniy Yatsenyuk for the significant contribution to the reform process, the protection of the independence and security of Ukraine

In a telephone conversation on Sunday, April 10, Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel reaffirmed of respect and gratitude to Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk for the significant contribution to the implementation of the national reforms and protection of the independence and security of Ukraine.

Angela Merkel thanked the Head of Ukrainian Government for partnership, high level of mutual trust and effective cooperation between Ukraine and Germany at the time of exceptional challenges.

The Federal Chancellor reassured Arseniy Yatsenyuk in commitment to further support Ukraine on the path of national political and economic transformation, successful implementation of the Minsk agreements, as well as the stability and prosperity of Ukraine.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk thanked for the solid support of Germany, which Ukraine feels on the way of reforms, and highly appreciated the personal role of the Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel in consolidating the international community to support Ukraine, our sovereignty and restoring its territorial integrity, peace and security in the region.
