Those citizens who were already granted the subsidy will benefit from obtaining it during the next heating period as well, Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko announced on air of Radio "Vesti".

"The subsidy system has proved its efficiency. Today about 6 million Ukrainian households, that were granted such subvention, are protected under conditions of rising gas prices, housing and utility tariffs”, he said.

According to the Minister, the subsidy system will continue for the next heating period. "Moreover, we have ensured the issued subsidy to be prolonged automatically. They should not turn up to social protection departments again”, said Pavlo Rozenko.

As is known, the state budget of Ukraine for 2016 includes expenditures for housing subsidies worth UAH 35 billion.
