The Government of Ukraine has take a decision to allocate UAH 300 million of state budget funds aimed to reduce interest rates for small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises, said Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk at a Government meeting on Wednesday, 6 April.

The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Oleksii Pavlenko stressed that this would allow farmers, as it had been in the previous year, to attract UAH 7.8 billion in loans in the framework of the state program on refund of loan interests.

Replying to a question the Head of Government, the Minister informed that the distribution of funds is fully decentralized with decision-making at the regional level.
