"I have declared it earlier and declare again that I am ready to extend my hand to the President and his faction. For 24 months we have been implementing the most complex and the most unpopular reforms. And we must never stop halfway," stressed Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk on Tuesday, February 23, answering the questions of journalists in Kharkiv.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk reminded that he had appealed to the Verkhovna Rada with a request to vote in Parliament a resolution of no confidence in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine: "Such a resolution didn’t get enough votes".

"This means that the major factions in the Parliament - the Petro Poroshenko Bloc and the People’s Front, must finally assume the full responsibility for the political and economic stability," he said.

"We hope to strengthen the coalition, and now we are engaged in the discussions with other members of the former coalition, so that to strengthen it", said the Head of Government.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk reminded that on February 18, when the two factions the Motherland and the Self-Reliance – had been absent in the assembly hall - the Parliament finally supported with 251 votes the law on a key reform of public sector of economy which concerns management of state-owned property: "There was introduced a concept of independent Directors that had been blocked throughout 12 months".

"I am convinced that all of us have political responsibility before the country, instead of hysteria about the upcoming early parliamentary elections, which won’t do any good for the country," said the Head of Government.
