MIP: broadcasting of the First channel of Ukrainian radio in Donetsk and Luhansk regions was renewed
On 5
January 2016, the broadcasting of programs of the First Channel of Ukrainian
Radio (UR-1) in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions on a
frequency of 88,7 MHz in Volnovakha,
on a frequency of 89.9 MHz in Kostiantynivka and on a
frequency of 106.9 MHz in Shyrokyi was renewed. The
broadcasting was renewed pursuant to the decision of the Commission on ensuring
the stable functioning of the National Television and Radio Broadcasting system
under the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine.
These
activities helped to ensure broadcasting of Ukrainian radio to residents of Volnovakha, Starobesheve, Kostiantynivka, Krasnoarmiisk raions of Donetsk region, partly residents of Horlivka and Donetsk, and also of Stanytsia
Luhanska, Bilovodsk raions of Luhansk region and
partly the city of Luhansk.

Popova said: "The taken measures provided the
residents of Donetsk and Luhansk regions with the
qualitative Ukrainian radio broadcasting. MIP of Ukraine together with BRT
Concern, in the framework of activity of the Commission, will expand the
geographic coverage of Ukrainian broadcasters in the east of Ukraine".
