“The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine like as a person who has reformed the National police deserves support and he deserves the right to continue together with the Government and the Prime Minister to reform the law enforcement system”, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk said at a press conference on the outcomes of 2015, on Tuesday, December 29, answering the questions of journalists.

“Other reasons will come to nothing” he added.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk also noted that Micheil Saakashvili is one of the heads of Regional State Administrations. "He is appointed by the President of Ukraine and the Government of Ukraine at the request of the President had made a submission [on his appointment as the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration]. I hope that he will prove to be a good leader of the region” the Head of Government stressed.

At the same time, he noted that Odesa is not the first, not the fifth and not even the tenth, but 16th region in the ranking of regions.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk recalled that all heads of districts of Odesa region were appointed without delay according to the head of the regional state administration submission; heads of regional police, custom, Prosecutor's office were appointed according to his submission too. "All power in the region belongs to the head of Odesa regional state administration”.

“I wish him success as a head of the Odesa RSA. If he needs help, like any of heads of regional administrations, - I'm at his service”, Arseniy Yatsenyuk said.
