Gov't provides enterprises, institutions and organizations conditions for compensation payments to mobilized workers

The Government has provided enterprises, institutions and organizations with the conditions for the compensation payments to mobilized workers. The Cabinet of Ministers adopted the corresponding order on 25 December 2015.

The adoption of the document will implement the provisions of Article 119 of the Labor Code of Ukraine regarding the implementation of compensation from the State Budget of Ukraine to enterprises, institutions, organizations within the average earnings of employees called up for military service during the mobilization for the special period.

In line with the Government’s order for these purposes will be allocated additional UAH41, 276 million. These funds are redistributed to the relevant budget program through savings in other expenditure items of the budget.

The Government instructed the Ministry of Social Policy to ensure the alignment of budget expenditures jointly with the Budget Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Finance Ministry – to make appropriate changes to the budget.
