"I expect Ukrnafta to pay by the
end of the current year dividends worth UAH 1.8 billion", said Prime
Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk, answering the questions of MPs during considering
in Parliament of the draft State Budget for 2016 at night of December 25.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk reminded that the Parliament had supported
the proposal of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on amending the law of
Ukraine on joint stock companies, thus enabling the state to regain control
over the company Ukrnafta: "The Government of Ukraine summoned a meeting
of the Supervisory Board and a general meeting of Ukrnafta shareholders, during
which a British citizen Mark Rollins was appointed by the general shareholders'
meeting the head of the company Ukrnafta.
Under the contract signed with the head of Ukrnafta, the
company shall pay dividends in the amount of UAH 1.8 billion by the end of the
year: "There are only a few days left until the end of the year. Yesterday
I had a meeting with head of the Ukrnafta Mark Rollins and warned him that
failure to meet the commitment he personally signed when taking the office can
result into dismissal and penalties."
