Initiated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the traffic of cargo
on the administrative border between Ukraine and the Autonomous Republic of
Crimea has been suspended by the Ukrainian Government. The decision was taken
on Monday, November 23, at an extraordinary session of the Government.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk
instructed the Cabinet of Ministers supervised by the Ministry of Economic
Development and Trade of Ukraine, following the law, to draft a directive of
the Government containing a specific list of goods, works and services that can
be delivered to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
"Provided
that such a list of products should meet the interests of Ukraine in the first
place, I propose to attract the Mejlis of the Crimean
Tatar People to ensure that this decision takes into account the interests of
our brotherly Crimean Tatar People as well", stressed the Head of
Government.
