On Monday, October 26, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk and U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker are holding a large-scale meeting in Kyiv with the participation of members of the Government of Ukraine as well as representatives of leading U.S. companies.

Among the companies whose representatives take part in the meeting are Cargill, Westinghouse, Citibank, NCH Capital Inc., Honeywell, DuPont.

In the beginning of the meeting Arseniy Yatseniuk has stressed that the visit of Penny Pritzker to Kyiv followed the Ukrainian-American investment forum held in Washington on 13 July.

"Together with you we have launched a real investment presentation of Ukraine," the Head of the Ukrainian Government addressed the Secretary of Commerce.

After the investment forum in Washington, the Prime Minister of Ukraine has reminded, we had the investment forum in Berlin on October 23, the next is to be held in Paris.

He has stressed the importance of the fact that the representatives of leading U.S. companies came to Ukraine. The Prime Minister has informed that the meeting will discuss "very pragmatic issues" of economic relations between Ukraine and the USA.

He has pointed out that the development of democracy in Ukraine "needs to be backed by the economic development": "We are confident that this meeting will give tangible results."

Arseniy Yatsenyuk addressed the representatives of the U.S. business: "You have questions, we have answers. You have investments - we are ready to receive them."

In her turn, Penny Pritzker has noted the efforts being made by the Government of Ukraine in implementing reforms.
