The Venice Commission issued a favorable conclusion on the relevant draft changes to the Constitution of Ukraine, which will ensure the reform of the judiciary and a complete renewal of all judges. Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko stated this following a plenary session of the Venice Commission.

The Venice Commission came to the conclusion that a complete renewal of the judiciary is only possible through exceptionally approval of amendments to the basic law of the country. However, experts of the VC warned against instant dismissing of all judges.
