On Friday, October 23, the delegation of the Government of Ukraine headed
by Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk will visit Berlin, which will host the Ukrainian-German
Economic Forum.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine is to hold talks with German Chancellor
Angela Merkel are in the framework of the visit. The
Heads of both Governments will pay special attention to the whole range of issues
of bilateral cooperation - peace process, strengthening economic cooperation,
support for the course of economic reforms and internal changes in our country,
security cooperation.

and Angela Merkel will open the large-scale Ukrainian-German Economic Forum,
which will gather more than 600 representatives of leading German companies
that are interested in starting, expanding and developing cooperation with
Ukraine and representatives of Ukrainian business.
Continuing the series of global events aimed at opening the investment
potential of Ukraine, the Berlin Forum will be a large-scale international
gathering designed to inform foreign partners about the progress of reforms in
our country, the results achieved and the prospects for further capital raising in the development of the national economy. The
successful U.S.-Ukraine Business Forum, initiated by the
Government of Ukraine and held in July 2015, in Washington D.C., was the first
overseas event in this direction.
It is assumed that in Berlin will be signed important documents, in
particular, in the framework of the forum will be concluded a bilateral
agreement on the establishment of German-Ukrainian industrial Chamber of
Commerce, which aims to significantly strengthen the presence of German business
in Ukraine.
During the visit, it is planned to sign a loan agreement with the European
Bank for Reconstruction and Development on providing the Ukrainian side with $
300 million to purchase natural gas on the western border.
During his working visit the Prime Minister of Ukraine will hold a range of
meetings with leading representatives of German business as well as
authoritative representatives of think tanks, political and expert circles.
