Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk congratulated Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada Justin Trudeau on his victory in the parliamentary elections.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk stressed that he highly appreciated the support for Ukraine by Canada: "I hope that together with your Government, we will continue to reinforce traditional mutual trust and mutual assistance", the letter reads.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine also aired deep appreciation to the current Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper for the vigorous cooperation and support rendered to Ukraine by the Government of Canada under his chairmanship.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk expressed hope for further strengthening of strategic relations and effective collaboration between the two countries.
