As the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviation) has not explained the reasons for restricting Ukrainian airlines' flights in Russian, the Ukrainian State Aviation Service has decided to fully terminate air services between Ukraine and the Russian Federation starting 25 October, 2015.

This measure will be applied to all Russian airlines and will be valid until the lifting of a ban imposed by the aviation authorities of the Russian Federation in relation to Ukrainian airlines. After the abolition of restrictions by the Russian side, Russian airlines not included on the sanction list will be able to fly to Ukraine.

The Ukrainian State Aviation Service informed Rosaviation about its decision on 9 October.
