Arseniy Yatsenyuk receives Japanese Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Shigeki Iwai

On Thursday,
October 1, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk
has received Japanese Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry
Shigeki Iwai.
Shigeki Iwai has confirmed
the willingness of the Government of Japan to deepen cooperation with Ukraine,
especially in the energy sector and implementation of appropriate innovative
technologies. He
has presented a plan for Ukraine's energy policy, developed with the assistance
of Japanese experts.
The participants of
the meeting have discussed Ukrainian-Japanese projects in the energy area, as
well as prospects of cooperation in post-accident response to emergencies at
nuclear power plants.
