On Wednesday, September 30, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk met with Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic Vazil Hudák.

Vazil Hudák highly appreciated the results of the recent visit of the Ukrainian Prime Minister to Slovakia and assured of the readiness of the Slovak side to develop the achieved understandings and deepen the partnership relations of both countries.

During the meeting the parties also discussed the initiatives and directions of bilateral cooperation, in particular, energy supplies to Ukraine, energy efficiency, renewable energy, innovative capacity, infrastructure industry in Ukraine, improvement of business and interregional cooperation.

Apart from that, the interlocutors evaluated the role of the intergovernmental Ukrainian-Slovak Commission on economic, industrial and scientific-technical cooperation in the launch of appropriate projects and aired the need to summon its regular meeting before the end of this year.
