On Wednesday, September 2, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk received a U.S. Senator Jack Reed.

During the conversation the Prime Minister of Ukraine expressed gratitude for the clear and strong support for our state by the Congress of the United States.

Reaffirming solidarity with Ukraine in the issues of peace, security and internal transformations, the United States Senate member highly evaluated the vigorous reform-focused endeavours of the Ukrainian Government.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk highlighted the assistance provided by the American partners for our country in various fields proves significant. In this context, the parties tackled the most pressing issues on the agenda of the country: upgrading the National Armed Forces, the military-industrial complex, the judicial system, energy independence, macro-financial stability.

Moreover, the interlocutors discussed a range of issues related to countering Russian aggression, with an emphasis on the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
