"External independent testing is one of
the exemplary reforms in the system of our education. The Government will continue
the EIT system," stressed Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk
during the meeting with directors of secondary schools on Friday, August 28.
The Prime Minister reminded about the criminal
case brought concerning the activities of the officials of the Center for Educational
Quality Assessment: "For me, as the Prime Minister, this is first of all,
the risk that disturbs confidence in the external independent testing. This is
unacceptable."
The Prime Minister addressed to the procuracy authorities so that an appropriate investigation will
be completed: "As the Prime Minister I want to hear what had happened
there. Not rumor, not speculation, but certain charge and certain officials who
must be brought to responsibility".
"I emphasize - officials must be brought to
responsibility, not a system of external evaluation. It has worked,
works and will work," he said.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk also stressed the importance so
that law enforcement agencies return the seized servers and computers, "because we need to get ready for next year External
independent testing".
