agricultural Ukrainian products. Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of
Ukraine for European integration Vladyslava Rutytska announced on the outcomes of the 5th meeting of
the Subcommission on Agricultural Cooperation of the Cooperation
Commission between the Governments of Ukraine and China.
In particular, Vladyslava Rutytska informed that in the near future
Ukraine is to receive a permit to export sunflower meal to China. The General
Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China plans
to grant appropriate permissions by late August.
Moreover, the Chinese party assured that it has not set out any additional requirements on Ukrainian sugar,
wine and confectionery. "We have an opportunity to trade sugar, but we
should find a reliable partner from China. Apart from that, we discussed possible
joint projects, including the construction of plants for pulp granulation. Regarding
wine and confectionery products there are also no obstacles, we have agreed to
deepen ties between certain manufacturers," explained Vladyslava Rutytska.
