On Thursday, August 6, during his working trip to Khmelnitsky Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk and Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov announced the start of admission process to the brand new patrol police.

A commission to pick up application forms and questionnaires began its activity today, and, according to Arseniy Yatsenyuk, 25 candidates have already applied.

"We expect that in December a brand new Ukrainian police will kick off patrolling Khmelnytsky. Cars have been purchased, kits purchased as well. Now they should undergo the training", he said.

The Head of Government informed that salary for the new patrol police officers in Khmelnytsky will be similar to that in Kyiv - from UAH 8 to 10 thousand.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk reminded that the law on the national police had been signed by the President of Ukraine, and the Parliament had voted for another two submitted by the Government on the reform of the law enforcement system, including the draft law on the law enforcement agencies: "We believe these two laws will be signed by the President and the first stage of the law enforcement reform will wind up."
