Arseniy Yatsenyuk checked operation of housing subsidy assignment centre in Lutsk

After a meeting with the Svitiaz soldiers in Lutsk, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk visited a Social Policy Department in Lutsk municipal council, where the citizens undergo the process of obtaining subsidies and fill necessary documents.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk checked the process of assignment housing subsidies. The staff told him about the communication with Lutsk citizens who appeal for assistance in getting subsidies. The staff provide them with necessary advice and help to fill out the papers. Moreover, Arseniy Yatsenyuk communicated to visitors of the centre and found out about the problems.

The Government has simplified the procedure for granting of housing subsidies. The assignment for subsidy is based on just two documents to be submitted – an application and a declaration. At this, there are introduced simplified forms of the aforesaid documents and cancelled the need to provide information on incomes, including from employed citizens.

Social protection bodies are prohibited to demand other documents from those applying for the subsidy.

The application and the Declaration are available to submit personally in a local social protection authority or to send by post - the required documents are delivered to the mailboxes of each citizen.
