PM: Ukraine and Great Britain will cooperate to counteract Russian information aggression

During a recent visit of Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk to London, Ukraine and the UK reached an agreement on cooperation to counter Russian information aggression. The Head of Government announced during the session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Friday, July 17.

He stressed that the problem of a hybrid war launched by Russia, "concerns the European Union and the entire civilized world": "Apart from the military offensive in Ukraine, there is another offensive and another weapon -information. Propaganda in Goebbels style is now among the main types of weapons, distributed by the Russian Federation thoughout the whole world."

"Together with our British partners we are changing the communication system both in Ukraine and abroad. Counteraction to Russian information aggression is what we are up to with our British partners. We should speak the truth and broadcast this truth on all world TV channels", highlighted Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
