Arseniy Yatsenyuk meets with Prime Minister of the United Kingdom David Cameron in London

Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk in the framework of the working trip to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland has met with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom David Cameron on Wednesday, July 15.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk expressed gratitude to the Government of the United Kingdom and personally to David Cameron for strong support of Ukraine: "We feel that you support the Ukrainian people in the struggle against Russian aggression".

"You are one of the leaders in the support of the Ukrainian people. And we believe that together we can create a success story," the Ukrainian PM said.

He emphasised that Ukraine and the UK have much in common. Once, the Prime Minister of Ukraine said, the Government of David Cameron adopted a package of austerity: "And you have done your economy truly prosperous and powerful".

Arseniy Yatsenyuk stressed that the Government of Ukraine has made similar steps. He noted that the experience of both countries will help to make "the world better and the EU to remain united, and so that the EU will be a key player in support of the territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine".

Arseniy Yatsenyuk invited David Cameron to visit Ukraine.

Within the visit to London it is also scheduled a speech of Arseniy Yatsenyuk at Ukraine Forum at the Royal Institute of international Affairs Chatham House. The Prime Minister will provide a report during the session Transforming Ukraine: Successes and Obstacles on the Way to Reform.
