Arseniy Yatsenyuk meets with U.S. President Barack Obama and Vice President Joseph Biden in Washington
On Monday, July
13, in the framework of his visit to Washington, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk met with U.S .President
Barack Obama and Vice
President Joseph Biden.
In his speech on
the results of the first U.S.-Ukraine Business Forum the Prime Minister of
Ukraine emphasized: "We appreciate the personal involvement of President Obama and Vice President Biden in the support for the
Ukrainian people."
Arseniy Yatsenyuk has also underlined that the Ukraine’s Government
commends the support of both parties in the U.S. House and the Senate:
"The whole American nation is united in maintaining the Ukrainian people,
and we thank you."
According to the
Prime Minister, the first U.S.-Ukraine Business Forum is "just the first
step": "We will get more if we will do more."
"We have chosen the difficult but right path - to carry out sometimes painful, but necessary reforms and build up a base for the prosperous future of Ukraine," Arseniy Yatsenyuk pointed out.
