Arseniy Yatsenyuk: Gov't replaces politically engaged Ukrgazvydobuvannia management with experts

On Thursday, June 25, Oleh Prokhorenko has been presented as a new Chairman of the state's largest gas producing company Ukrgazvydobuvannia at a meeting of Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk and members of the Government with the representatives of member companies of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine and the European Business Association.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk has underlined that Oleh Prokhorenko is "a young man who has experience in one of the world's most famous companies, McKinsey, and in the energy sector."

"The Government consistently carries out a policy aimed at replacing the politically engaged management of public companies with experts who are deprived of political influence, and have only one goal - to do public companies effective and transparent," the Prime Minister highlighted.

"I expect from NJSC Naftogaz and Ukrgazvydobuvannia concrete and practical results in reforming the company," said Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
