Arseniy Yatsenyuk: The State Fiscal Service should be a part of the Ministry of Finance
The Government has given the State Fiscal
Service three months to restore order in the tax system, the Prime Minister of
Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk said on Friday, May 15, during An Hour of Questions
to the Government at the Verkhovna Rada of
The Head of Government recalled that the new
leadership of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine had been appointed, and the State
Fiscal Service was given “three months to restore order in the tax system”: “first
of all - to stop an abusive tax shelter. The second is to restore order in the
custom system. And thirdly is to solve the problem of tax police.”
The Government, he said, proposes to eliminate
the tax police and transfer it to the civil investigation of tax crimes: "I
insist once again that this reform should be carried out".
Arseniy Yatsenyuk also stressed that the role
and place of the State Fiscal Service provided by the program of reforming of
the tax service in general: "I believe that the State Fiscal Service
