Arseniy Yatsenyuk during International Support for Ukraine conference: Those who support Ukraine support stability in the EU and the world
On Tuesday, April 28, Kyiv hosted an International Support for Ukraine conference.
The event gathered over 500 participants from over 50 countries. These are representatives from the EU institutions and EU member states, G7 countries, UNO, other international organizations, worldwide investment and business companies and civil society.
On opening
the conference Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk noted that the event
is the first conference in a series of events aimed to provide “support to
Ukraine”.
“Everyone who
supports Ukraine supports stability in the European Union and the world,” he
stressed.
Arseniy
Yatsenyuk emphasized the international community faces unprecedented
challenges: “The best way is to stay united and give a strong response to all the
challenges all of us are facing”.
The Prime
Minister informed there would be held a Security conference in Kyiv, investment
conferences in the United States and Germany: “In the year’s end Kyiv will host
a huge investment conference aimed at attracting more private investors and boosting
an economic growth in Ukraine”.
