Arseniy Yatsenyuk requires from regions' leadership a coordinated and joint action

"I ask everyone to stop succumbing to various provocations, to reduce the degree of emotions and engage into practical activities for the sake of the country. Those activities that are much expected by the people of Ukraine and that yield a peculiar result for each country’s citizen", urged Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk during a teleconference with heads of regional state administrations dedicated to considering the execution of local budgets on Tuesday, March 24.

Arseniy Yatseniuk stressed that the economic situation within Ukraine is difficult: "But with joining efforts, step by step, we are getting out of this rather difficult economic situation."

The PM emphasized a lot depends on the unity within the country: "The President and the Prime Minister are working as one. The majority of the Parliamentary coalition supports difficult but correct decisions of the Government and the President. We have managed to maintain a dialogue and efficient work as well".

According to him, similar teamwork should be demonstrated by heads of regional administrations: "There should be a coordinated and joint team that is responsible for the fate of the country, facing the greatest challenges in the history of the Ukrainian state".

"Everyone of us is answerable for what will happen tomorrow. We are fighting for the European future of the country, for the new jobs, salaries, resources in the budget for road repair activities, upgrading of hospitals, funding schools. For curbing corruption within the country, for removing from posts corrupt officials, like we are doing it. For achieving understanding of each Ukrainian citizen that there is a new country. No one believes in words. People believe only in concrete deeds and concrete results," said Arseniy Yatsenyuk to the heads of regional state administrations.
