Oleksiy Pavlenko believes the growth of agricultural exports strengthens national currency
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food opens new markets for Ukrainian
agricultural products, as an increase in exports strengthens the national
currency. Minister of Agriculture and Food of
Ukraine Oleksiy Pavlenko said this on IV All-Ukrainian Agrarian Forum.
Oleksiy Pavlenko informed of the Ukraine’s progress in the
development of the European market, in particular, the exhaustion of most
export quotas, and the prospects of entering the EU market Ukrainian dairy products
and beef. The Minister informed about effort
to open other world markets, including the prospects of new contracts with
China, Saudi Arabia, Asian countries and Africa. "Yesterday
the Ministry discussed with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia the
areas of bilateral cooperation. By
the way, recently I saw pictures of a supermarket in Dubai where you can buy
Ukrainian dairy products," Oleksiy Pavlenko noted.
Speaking on
conditions of doing business in Ukraine, Oleksiy Pavlenko reminded that any checks of economic entities
were prohibited by a decision of the Government. This should protect farmers against
arbitrariness and abuse by government regulatory bodies. The
ban on checks are only part of the reform of the deregulation of the agrarian
field in the context of which, on February 15, 2015, the Verkhovna Rada of
Ukraine adopted the law on simplifying the business environment (deregulation).
