PM announces Govt's new approach to obtaining benefits and subsidies - simple, fast and effective

"Changing tariffs should be accompanied by a broad program of social assistance. The Government will allocate UAH12.5 billion for benefits and subsidies to the low-income groups as compensation for the change in prices and tariffs," Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk emphasized at a meeting of the Government on Saturday, February 14.

The Prime Minister also said that next week the Cabinet will issue a new approach to obtaining benefits and subsidies: "It is simple, fast and efficient. The person will actually fill in only two documents and these documents will come home by post."

"If you are eligible for benefits and subsidies, you should fill in a few lines and send back to the social services - and you will automatically be assigned privileges and subsidies," the Prime Minister added.
