Oleksii Pavlenko discusses possibilities of cooperation with Danish companies to build an open market
Minister of
Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Oleksii Pavlenko and representatives of the Danish business in
Ukraine have discussed the working conditions of European entrepreneurs in
Ukraine and agreed to continue cooperation to build an open agricultural
market.
The
Minister has thanked the entrepreneurs of Denmark for the fruitful cooperation
in recent years. Despite all, Ukraine has retained the investment
attractiveness for business, as evidenced by the desire of the Danish entrepreneurs
to invest in our agro-industrial complex, Oleksii Pavlenko added.
The
Ukrainian side has also presented the most attractive and profitable
agricultural areas of the country.
The
leadership of the Ministry answered numerous questions from the Danish
entrepreneurs. One of the key issues is the creation of a transparent and open
system of legislative regulation of the agro-industrial sphere. As noted by Oleksii Pavlenko, the Ministry
carries out activities aimed at eliminating unnecessary state regulators, in
particular, certification procedures.
Vladyslava
Rutytska, Deputy Minister for European integration
said that the Ministry is actively working on the harmonization of Ukrainian
legislation to the European Union’s standards. “From the Danish entrepreneurs,
we expect not only investment, but also the introduction of new business
practices”. Among other things, Vladyslava Rutytska invited Danish experts, in particular, in the
field of veterinary medicine, to join the process of developing new legislation.
