Foreign Minister of Ukraine and NATO Secretary General: escalation of the aggression can't remain unanswered
Following
the extraordinary meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission (26 January 2015)
Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin met with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at
NATO HQ. The main topics of the meeting - deterioration of the security
situation in eastern Ukraine, intensification of terrorist activities by
Russia-backed militants of so called „Donetsk People's Republic” and „Luhansk People's Republic”, Russia's destructive actions in
the international arena.
Pavlo Klimkin and Jens Stoltenberg discussed the further steps
aimed at deterring further Russian aggression and returning the aggressor to
civilized negotiations.
The sides
have „synchronized the watches” on the most pressing issues of NATO-Ukraine
political interaction and practical cooperation on the eve of the Munich
Security Conference to be held on 6-8 February.
