Arseniy Yatsenyuk: An inventory of civil protection objects has commenced

Today there has been launched an inventory of all structures and facilities subject for civil defence. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk during a meeting of the President with representatives of the parliamentary coalition factions on Monday, January 26.

According to him, preliminary verification was launched two months ago.

"Information provided by the Chairman of the State Emergency Service concerning preliminary inspection of these objects, unfortunately, contains that half of the objects prove not ready to accommodate people," stressed the Head of Government.

According to him, among the main reasons is the lack of funding, "We will partially finance from the Reserve Fund. But we consider that a core reason is in the fact that just nobody had taken up this issue for two decades".
