Hennadii Zubko: Humanitarian cargo has reached the destination, we are engaged in work to ensure safe delivery of the assistance to the social institutions
Humanitarian aid, which was sent by Ukrainian
authorities on December 24 from Kharkiv to the Eastern Ukraine for the residents
of the territories that are controlled by the militants, has been delivered to
Kramatorsk and Severodonetsk. This was announced
by Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing
and Utilities Hennadii Zubko.
According to him, now the Government is making every effort to deliver safely
this assistance to the social institutions located in the areas affected by constant
attacks of the militants.
"We are working to ensure that social institutions could receive
food and essential goods. Currently, the SES rescue units are delivering assistance
to the territory of the clashes, which is all the time under the threat of fire
and where the food supplies were terminated," explained Hennadii Zubko.
The
coordination of activities to ensure deliveries of the humanitarian aid
directly on the spot is carried by Chairman of the SES Serhii
Bochkovsky.
