PM says 13 thousand of military equipment restored. Govt is ready to allocate extra UAH 1 billion
More than 13 thousand pieces of military equipment have been already restored and put into service. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is ready to provide additional UAH 1 billion in the form of government guarantees, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk stated following the workshop on the preparation of the Armed Forces to carry out tasks in the autumn-winter period that he held at the Defense Ministry of Ukraine on Friday, October 3.
The Prime Minister has informed that more than 13 thousand pieces of equipment have been already restored and put into service: “Now Ukroboronprom began to work on several shifts, but production capacity is not enough to provide the Armed Forces in full with those needs, they’ve asked.”
“The Government has allocated all necessary funding. In total, the Cabinet of Ministers has the possibility of issuing UAH 25 billion of government guarantees, and the Government is ready to allocate UAH 1 billion for additional purchase and restoration of military equipment and weapons,” the Prime Minister underlined.
