Arseniy Yatsenyuk: By September 15 the Government is to submit draft State Budget to the Parliament

As envisaged by the Constitution, by 15 September the Government of Ukraine will submit to the Parliament a draft law On the State Budget, which clearly determines expenses in billions for the defense, and additional laws that change in the conceptual way the budget and the tax policy in the country, said Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk at a Government meeting on Wednesday, 10 September, which was attended by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov, the heads of regional state administrations and Kyiv city.

The PM noted that on 9 September, the Government of Ukraine had spent “almost the final meeting regarding the preparation of the package of budget reforms and amendments to the tax and budget legislation”.

"Despite the electoral process, and the budget is truly not a propaganda of a political force, it is honest and fair," he said.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk said that the Government is ready to report on the draft budget in the Parliament and expressed hope that the Parliament will meet to vote for these bills.
