Arseniy Yatsenyuk appealed to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine and Verkhovna
Rada of Ukraine with a proposal to immediately set up an ad hoc committee on
investigation of cases of trafficking in weapons and military equipment
through 2004-2014. |
The Prime
Minister offered this
initiative during the closed session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on 4
September, reports the Department of information and communication of the
Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
"State enterprise "Ukroboronprom",
which produces and sells weapons, like other exporters, is not within
the competence of the Cabinet of Ministers," the Department informs.
