Statement by Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk: "Seven points" by Putin is an attempt to freeze the conflict in Ukraine's East
"Seven
points" suggested by the Russian President, allegedly to resolve the
crisis in Ukraine, remarkably imply the plan of salvation for the Russian
terrorists. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk announced.
"This is yet
another "plan" - an attempt to confuse the international community
before the NATO Summit and a try to avoid the inevitable decisions of the European
Union on imposing a new wave of sanctions against Russia", - said the PM.
“A real plan of Putin
is destruction of Ukraine and resumption of the USSR,” he emphasized.
According to the
Prime Minister, we feel no trust in any plan of the Russian president: “All previously
approved by Russia understandings – in Geneva, Normandy, Berlin, Minsk – were just
ignored or violated blatantly by the Russian regime”.
“The best plan to
stop war of Russia against Ukraine can be comprised of the only point: Russia
withdraws their regular troops, mercenaries and terrorists from Ukrainian
territory. Then peace will be reinstated in Ukraine,” the Head of Government highlighted.
“We expect decisions
of the NATO and the European Union how to stop the aggressor,” Arseniy
Yatsenyuk declared.
